Xperi Holding Corporation today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021.

TiVo®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xperi Holding Corporation, today announced a long-term renewal of its patent license with Google.

This agreement illustrates the relevance of TiVo’s innovations across all forms of video consumption, from linear to on-demand, and from traditional TV platforms to online and mobile.”

This new matter adds to Rovi’s existing litigation against Videotron, which is pending a decision from the Federal Court of Canada. That litigation was filed before Videotron launched its next-generation Helix platform and alleges infringement of different patents by Videotron’s legacy platform.

Xperi Holding Corporation today announced that its wholly-owned-subsidiary TiVo Corporation was selected as the successful bidder at auction to acquire the assets of MobiTV, a global leader in application-based Pay TV video delivery solutions.
